On Sunday 16th February 16 of our mighty P6 warriors travelled South to Navan RFC for a mini rugby blitz. An early start for an early kick off in County Meath.
First up were Ratoath RFC, and once the car journey was out of the system the boys settled early nerves with some brilliant tackling and running rugby. Next up was the first of two Navan teams. A sterner test than the first match but one that the boys were more than up to.
Our third game saw us matched against a Blackrock side that played some lovely rugby and meant for an open and free-flowing game.
The final match of the day was against the second team from our hosts. This was a fiercely contested battle in the mud, and again the Bangor Boys rose to the challenge to make it 4 wins from 4.
A super day of rugby and excellent hosting and hospitality from Navan RFC. Big thanks to everyone who made it happen.
We look forward to returning the fixture at Upritchard Park.
